Step 1 — Create Your Account
You can register on the Pionex website or in the App using any of the following:
Google, Apple, LINE, or Telegram
Email address
Phone number
Your password must be at least 8 characters and include both letters and numbers.
Note: Pionex does not support sub-accounts. Each registration creates one independent account.

Prefer the App? Download it from the official Pionex download page. Identity verification in particular works more smoothly on a phone than in a desktop browser.
Step 2 — Secure Your Account
Do this before you add any funds, not after.
Bind both your email and phone number
Whichever one you signed up with, bind the other as well. Each bound method can receive verification codes, and having two means losing access to one does not lock you out of your own account. If only one is bound and you lose it, recovery becomes much harder.
Turn on Google Authenticator (2FA)
This adds a time-based code to logins and withdrawals, and is the single most valuable security step a new account can take. Save your backup key somewhere safe when you set it up — it is what lets you restore access if you lose the device.
Step 3 — Complete Identity Verification (KYC)
Your verification level determines what your account can do. If an action is unavailable to you, it is usually your verification level rather than a restriction on your account.

Crypto Deposit | ✗ | ✓ | ✓ |

Withdrawal Limit | 0 | Refer to the limit shown on the page | Refer to the limit shown on the page |
What each level requires
LV.1 — your country/region and legal full name.
LV.2 — a valid government-issued identity document plus a live face scan. You can apply for LV.2 directly without completing LV.1 first.
Accepted documents for LV.2: passport, national ID card with photo, or photo driving licence. Photograph the physical document — scans, printouts, and screenshots are not accepted, and the document must be valid for at least 6 months from submission.
Review time: most verifications complete within 1 hour. Complex cases take 1–3 business days.
Good to know:
You must be 18 or older and use your own genuine document.
One identity can be verified on only one Pionex account.
LV.2 cannot be downgraded back to LV.1 once completed.
Eligibility follows the issuing country of your identity document — not your email domain, IP address, or current location.
Withdrawal limits roll forward from your most recent withdrawal rather than resetting at a fixed time each day.

Step 4 — Get Your First Funds Into Pionex
A new account starts empty, so this is the step that gets you to a balance you can trade with. There are two ways in, and which one applies depends on what you are starting from.
Buying crypto for the first time — use fiat method
If you do not own any crypto yet, buy it directly with your bank card or a bank transfer. This is the usual route for a first-time user and requires LV.2 verification.
Bank card (Express) — the fastest way to a first balance, suited to smaller amounts.
How to Buy Crypto with a Bank Card (Express)Bank transfer — better for larger amounts. The payment provider reviews the transfer before crypto is credited, so it is not instant.
How to Buy Cryptocurrency with Bank Transfer
Most beginners start with USDT, a stablecoin, because nearly every trading pair and bot on Pionex is priced against it.
Already hold crypto elsewhere — transfer it in
If you already have crypto on another exchange or in a wallet, send it to your Pionex deposit address instead of buying again.
Check the network before you send. Copy both the deposit address and the network from the Pionex deposit page, and select the same network on the sending side. If you send on a network Pionex does not support for that coin, the deposit cannot be credited automatically and recovering it requires a separate manual request.
Three things cause most first-deposit problems. Each is avoidable, and none is reversible on its own:
Wrong network — the deposit cannot be credited automatically, and recovery is a separate manual request.
Below the minimum — each coin and network has a minimum deposit amount. Anything below it will not be credited or refunded, so account for the sending platform's fee before you send.
Missing memo or tag — some coins require one, shown in the deposit window. Sending without it, or with the wrong one, can leave the deposit incomplete and needing manual recovery.
Step 5 — Choose How You Want to Trade
Pionex offers manual trading, automated bots, and earn products. They suit different goals and carry different risks. Pionex does not provide investment advice and does not choose a coin, product, or strategy for you — the summaries below are to help you decide what to read next.
Manual trading
You place each order yourself and decide when to enter and exit.
Spot trading — you buy and hold the actual coin. Your loss is limited to what you put in, which is why most beginners start here.
Spot Trading GuidanceFutures trading — you trade contracts with leverage rather than owning the coin. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and a position can be liquidated, meaning the margin backing it is lost. Practise first with Demo Trading, which uses simulated funds.

Trading bots
A bot follows rules you configure, so it keeps working while you are away. A bot is not a managed or guaranteed-return product: it can lose money, and a futures bot can be liquidated. Read the guide for the specific bot you intend to run — they behave differently from one another.
Spot bots — trade the actual coin, no leverage:
Grid Trading Bot — the most common starting point. Buys low and sells high repeatedly inside a price range you set.
DCA (Martingale) Bot — Simple Mode — buys in stages as the price falls.
Smart Trade Bot — a single entry with take-profit and stop-loss attached, rather than an autonomous strategy.
Futures bots — use leverage, and can be liquidated:

Earn products
For holding assets rather than actively trading them.
Arbitrage is the one most new users ask about. It buys crypto in the spot market while opening an equivalent short position in perpetual futures, which hedges out price movement, and earns from the funding fee paid on the futures side. Because the two positions offset each other, the return does not depend on the coin's price going up.
Practical details: earnings are credited every 8 hours, and there is no lock-up — you can redeem any time, except for a 15-minute window just after each settlement.
Minimums start from 10 USDT, and there is a product reserved for new users. A share of profits is withheld into an insurance fund that covers negative-funding-rate periods and losses from spot/futures spreads.
Yields move with market conditions and are not fixed or guaranteed — past performance does not indicate future results.

A withdrawal may ask for a face scan even on a fully verified account. That is a security check on the withdrawal itself, not a restriction on your account.
Getting Help
Ask Pionex.AI
Pionex.AI is the in-product AI assistant. It can answer questions about your account, walk you through a process, and check things like deposit status or bot records for you — usually faster than waiting for a reply.
Contact human customer support

Official email: service@pionex.com
Beware of impersonation. Pionex support will never message you first on Telegram, WhatsApp, or social media, and will never ask for your password, 2FA code, or seed phrase. You can check whether someone claiming to be Pionex staff is genuine on the official staff verification page. Treat a lookalike domain or a branded Telegram account as a scam unless you have verified it there.
Risk Disclaimer
Cryptocurrency prices are volatile, and you can lose money, including the whole amount you put in. Nothing in this guide or elsewhere on Pionex is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and no return is promised or implied. Leveraged products such as futures trading and futures bots can be liquidated, which means losing the margin backing the position. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose, and make your own assessment before using any product.
Fees, limits, supported regions, and supported coins and networks change over time. Always check the figure shown on the relevant page in the App or on the website before acting on it.
