The Fund Statement is a feature within your Pionex account that automatically tracks the average cost and PnL of the coins you hold, so you can clearly see whether each coin is currently profitable or at a loss without building your own spreadsheet.
Which assets does the Fund Statement support?
Currently, only spot assets are supported. Other asset types such as futures and Earn are not yet supported.
When does the Fund Statement start recording data?
Data has been recorded since March 12, 2024, 00:00 (UTC+8). If you already held a coin that you had not yet sold before this date, the system uses the price on that date as the initial average cost.
Note: If the initial average cost doesn't match your actual purchase cost, you can edit it manually — see below for details.
Can I edit the average cost? How?
Yes, here's how:
Open the app and tap Account
Select any spot asset (e.g., BTC)
Tap the pencil icon next to Average cost or the Fund Statement section to start editing
Save your changes, and the system will automatically recalculate the PnL% based on the new average cost
Why can't I edit the average cost for some records?
Currently, only deposit (buy) records support editing the average cost; sell records cannot be edited.
Can I view the edit history after changing the average cost?
Yes. After saving your change, tap the clock icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to view that coin's average cost edit history.
Why doesn't the Fund Statement calculate PnL and average cost for leveraged tokens?
The platform currently doesn't support displaying the average holding price or PnL ratio for leveraged tokens (e.g., BTC3L/BTC3S). This is a current product design limitation rather than a system error, so the field will always show "--". You can check your profit/loss manually using your balance changes and transaction history; this data can't be viewed directly on this page for now.
How are "Available balance," "Coin PnL," "PnL%," and "Average cost" calculated?
Term | Description / Formula |
Available balance | Total balance − unavailable funds (e.g., frozen funds, funds in open orders, etc.) |
Coin PnL | (Last price − Average cost) × Current balance |
PnL% | (Last price − Average cost) / Average cost |
Average cost (system-calculated) | (Previous average cost × quantity + this purchase price × quantity) / quantity held after the purchase |
Note: Average cost refers to the average cost of your current position (excluding fees). It's calculated based only on buy transactions and doesn't change when you sell.
How does the Fund Statement help me?
You won't need to build a separate spreadsheet to track cost and PnL. Just view or adjust the average cost in the Pionex app, and the system will automatically recalculate the coin's PnL and PnL% in real time — helping you quickly stay on top of your investments.
