This article explains how to use Pionex's Internal Quick Transfer feature to send assets directly to another Pionex account. Unlike an on-chain withdrawal, an internal transfer doesn't require a network fee and arrives faster.
What Is Internal Quick Transfer?
Internal Quick Transfer is Pionex's way of moving assets between accounts. As long as the recipient is also a Pionex user, all you need is their 8-digit Pionex UID to complete the transfer — completely fee-free.
This is useful when you want to:
Send assets to a friend's, family member's, or teammate's Pionex account
Move assets between your own multiple Pionex accounts
Avoid on-chain network fees and confirmation wait times
Prerequisites
Both the sender and recipient already have a Pionex account
You know the recipient's 8-digit Pionex UID (they can find it on their own profile page)
The sending account has sufficient available balance (the minimum transfer amount varies by asset and is shown on the page in real time — e.g. the minimum for USDT is 2)
Steps
1. Go to the "More" page Open the Pionex app and tap More from the home page navigation bar.
2. Find the "Withdraw" entry On the More page, under Deposit & Withdrawal, tap Withdraw.
3. Choose "Internal Quick Transfer" A withdrawal method selector pops up with two options:
On-chain Withdrawal — sends to an external wallet address and requires a network fee
Internal Quick Transfer — sends to another Pionex account, fee-free
Tap Internal Quick Transfer.
4. Enter the recipient's account UID In the Recipient Account UID field, enter the recipient's 8-digit Pionex UID.
If the recipient is a frequent contact, tap the address book icon next to the field to pick them from Account Management instead of typing the UID every time.
5. Enter the withdrawal amount In the Withdrawal amount field, enter how much you want to send:
Your Available balance is shown below the field
Tap ALL to automatically fill in your entire available balance for that asset
Each asset has its own minimum transfer amount (as shown on the page)
6. Review the details and submit Once you've confirmed the recipient's UID and the amount are correct, tap Transfer at the bottom to submit.
Confirming the Transfer Succeeded
After you submit, you can check the status of the internal transfer in your deposit/withdrawal History. Once the transfer succeeds, the assets arrive instantly, and the recipient will see it reflected in their own account history.
Important Notes
Internal transfer is fee-free. If you choose On-chain Withdrawal but enter a wallet address that actually belongs to another Pionex user, the app will still show an estimated fee amount when you submit the withdrawal request — but as long as the recipient's address is genuinely a Pionex account, that fee is automatically waived. You can ignore the fee number shown on screen — the recipient will receive the full amount, with no fee deducted.
A few more things to keep in mind:
Double-check the UID. Once submitted, an internal transfer cannot be reversed. Always verify the recipient's account UID carefully before confirming, to avoid sending funds to the wrong account.
If you can't confirm the recipient's UID, or they aren't a Pionex user, use On-chain Withdrawal and transfer via a blockchain address instead.
The minimum transfer amount differs by asset — always check the real-time prompt on the transfer page.
FAQ
Q: What's the difference between an internal transfer and an on-chain withdrawal? A: An internal transfer only works between Pionex accounts — it's fee-free and arrives instantly. An on-chain withdrawal can go to any external wallet address, incurs a network fee, and requires blockchain confirmation.
Q: What if I enter the wrong UID?
A: Internal transfers cannot be reversed once submitted, so always verify the recipient's UID with them before transferring. If something goes wrong, contact Pionex Support for help.
Q: Why does the page still show a fee amount?
A: That's just the app's default display logic. As long as the recipient is a Pionex account, the actual fee is waived and they receive the full amount — there's nothing to worry about.
Q: What does a Pionex "internal" address mean?
A: It means that wallet address belongs to a user's own wallet on the Pionex platform, rather than an independent third-party wallet.
