How to lift an account restriction if facial verification doesn't match the account holder?

Facial verification shows you're not the account owner, so the restriction can't be lifted. Only the person who completed KYC can verify. No other ID, email appeal, or manual review is accepted as a substitute.

An account may be restricted or flagged for security review for various reasons (e.g., unusual activity, risk review, etc.), and one way to lift the restriction is to require the account holder to complete facial verification.

Pionex strictly prohibits the buying, selling, transferring, or lending of accounts or identity verification (KYC) information. If the person currently operating the account is not the same person who completed the account's identity verification (KYC), the facial verification step cannot be completed, and the restriction cannot be lifted.

How this is handled: Only the individual who personally completed the account's Level 2 identity verification can pass facial verification to lift the restriction. If that individual cannot be located or is unwilling to complete verification, the account will remain restricted. We do not accept alternative documents, other supporting materials, or attempts to bypass the restriction via email appeals or manual review — this type of situation is not eligible for exception handling.
