What Is Profit Reinvestment?
After running for a while, a Spot Grid bot generates "Grid profit" through its automated buy/sell orders. Users can choose to reinvest this profit, letting the bot use the added funds to increase the quantity traded per grid — which improves how efficiently the grid produces profit.
On the App
Open the Pionex App and go to your Spot Grid bot.
Tap More.
Select Profits reinvest.
Tap Confirm to complete the setup.
On the Website
Log in to the Pionex website.
From the top menu, click Orders → Trading Bot Orders.
Find and click the Spot Grid bot you want to manage.
Go to the Parameters tab.
Toggle on Reinvest Profits Automatically.
How Profit Reinvestment Works
Reinvested profit is used to increase the quantity traded per grid.
The reinvested amount is counted toward Trend PnL.
After reinvestment, Current Profit is calculated as: Current Profit = Grid profit + Trend PnL − Reinvested USDT
Things to Note
1. Minimum precision limit
When the reinvested amount isn't enough to reach the next precision increment, the profit is still reinvested, but the quantity traded per grid won't increase yet.
2. Minimum amount required to increase the quantity per grid
The minimum amount needed to increase the quantity traded per grid depends on a combination of:
Trading pair
Upper/lower price range
Number of grids
You can refer to the minimum investment amount shown when setting up the bot, based on that same combination of parameters, and should also set aside a small amount extra to cover fees.
How Reinvested Profit Is Handled
If the reinvested amount hasn't reached the threshold yet, the system holds it within the bot and counts it toward Trend PnL.
While the bot is running: Reinvested profit cannot be withdrawn.
After the bot is stopped: Reinvested profit is settled together with the bot's profit/loss and then released to your primary account.
