1. Investment Amount
The larger the investment amount, the more funds are allocated to each grid. This means:
The quantity per grid increases
Each grid captures more profit per trade
Example: If you invest 1,000 USDT across 10 grids, each grid gets ~100 USDT. If you invest 10,000 USDT, each grid gets ~1,000 USDT.
2. Number of Grids
The more grids you set, the more finely your investment is divided, meaning less is allocated per grid. This results in:
Smaller quantity per grid
Less profit per grid, but coverage of finer price movements
3. Minimum Order Precision of the Trading Pair
Different trading pairs have different minimum order precision requirements. For example: If a token's price is 100 USDT and the minimum precision is 0.1, then each grid needs at least 10 USDT to place an order successfully. In some cases, part of your investment may not be fully utilized.
Example: If the minimum investment per grid under certain parameters is 100 USDT, then investing 100 USDT vs. 190 USDT would result in the same quantity per grid — because the excess amount doesn't fully match the minimum precision requirement. Unused funds remain in the bot and are returned when the bot is closed. In the Futures Grid Bot, unused funds are counted as part of the margin.
How to Check the Quantity Per Grid
App
Open the Pionex App and tap "Bot" in the bottom navigation bar.
Find the bot you want to check and tap "Detail".
Tap the "Placed" tab.
You will see the "Quantity Per Grid" displayed.

Log in to the Pionex website.
Click "Orders" in the top menu, then select "Trading Bot Orders".
Click the bot you want to check from the list.
Click the "Placed" tab on the right panel.
You will see the "Quantity/grid" displayed at the top.
