General Rules
Regardless of bot type, the following can never be changed once a position is opened: the trading direction (long or short), the entry price, the per-grid buy/sell quantity and per-grid profit (values the strategy calculates automatically), and the trigger price.
The following can be done at any time on almost all bots: setting take-profit, setting stop-loss, renaming the bot, editing order notes, and stopping the bot.
A few other features are only available on some bots. Add investment/Reduce investment works on most bots, but not on the Cross Margin Futures Grid or DCA bot(composite mode). Redeem profit is only available on grid-type bots — Spot Grid, Futures Grid, COIN-M Futures Grid, Cross Margin Futures Grid, and the Hedging Bot. Pausing is only available on one-way (non-hedge) grid-type bots — Spot Grid, Futures Grid, COIN-M Futures Grid, and the Hedging Bot. Create a reverse bot is likewise only available on one-way Futures Grid-type bots — Futures Grid, COIN-M Futures Grid, and the Hedging Bot.
Spot Grid
The price range and Trailing up can both be adjusted while running, and take-profit/stop-loss can be set at any time. You can also turn "Reinvest Profit" on/off, add investment, Redeem profit separately, and pause. The direction, the coin used, the entry price, and the per-grid buy/sell quantity and per-grid profit are all locked.
Spot Martingale(DCA Bot)
The price range can be changed. Take-profit % and stop-loss % can be adjusted at any time, and you can add or reduce investment. But the core strategy parameters set at position opening — Price deviation, Volume scale, Safety orders, take profit ratio, and the signal — are locked.
Note: the price range on Futures Martingale (Futures DCA bot) is locked, but on Spot Martingale (DCA bot) it can be changed — even though both are called "Martingale (DCA Bot)," the spot and futures versions differ here.
Futures Grid (one-way position)
This covers both the standard Futures Grid and the COIN-M Futures Grid — the rules are identical for both.
The price range can be changed, and leverage can be adjusted too. Take-profit/stop-loss, margin, and Add investment/Reduce investment can all be done at any time; you can also redeem profit separately, turn on Compound, pause the bot, or even Create a reverse bot directly. Trailing up appears in the UI but can't actually be adjusted while running — a similar effect can only be achieved by changing the price range. As with Spot Grid, direction and entry price are locked.
Cross Margin Futures Grid (two-way hedge)
This bot runs a long grid and a short grid at the same time; its logic is very different from the one-way Futures Grid. Here, price range and leverage are locked. What can be set is the account-level overall take-profit/stop-loss, plus separate TP/SL for the long grid and the short grid; margin can be adjusted and profit withdrawn. This bot type doesn't support Add investment/Reduce investment, reinvestment, pausing, or creating a reverse bot, since it already holds both directions at once.
Futures Martingale (Futures DCA Bot)
These parameters are all locked while running: Add Position Price (Falling), Volume scale, Attitude, Leverage, Start price, and Trading Range.
These can all be changed at any time: Take Profit Price (Rising), Take Profit, Stop Loss, Number of Cycles, margin, Add investment, and Safety orders.
Hedging Bot
This is a coin-margined hedging bot with leverage fixed at 1x — locked by design to keep the hedge ratio intact.
In Segmented Hedging mode, leverage and direction are locked, but price range, TP/SL, margin, Add investment/Reduce investment, withdrawing profit, reinvestment, creating a reverse bot, and pausing all work normally.
In Full Hedging mode, leverage and direction are locked, and withdrawing profit, changing price range, reinvestment, and pausing are unavailable — but TP/SL, margin, Add investment/Reduce investment, and margin adjustment all work normally.
This bot type's key feature is that it can never be liquidated — the "Est. Liq. Price" field shows "Won't Liq." directly, which is its main difference from a standard Futures Grid.
Rebalancing Bot
This bot is not grid-based and has no price range or leverage; its core function is holding several coins in set proportions. While running you can adjust each coin's allocation at any time, remove a coin, or add a new one. You can also switch between four auto-rebalancing modes — Off, Momentum Rebalancing, Periodic, and Threshold — and TP/SL and Add investment/Reduce investment can also be changed.
Spot Martingale (DCA Bot)(Composite mode)
This is a multi-currency version of the Martingale strategy; very little can be changed while it runs. How far price must drop to trigger an add-on, the add-on multiplier, max add-ons, take-profit target, trigger signal, number of coins traded simultaneously, and max orders per coin are all locked. Unlike single-coin Spot/Futures Martingale, it can't add to or reduce its position, and can't set TP/SL per coin individually — essentially the only option while running is to close it entirely and restart.
Common Misconceptions
Whether the price range can be changed depends on the bot type — it's not one-size-fits-all: Spot Grid, Spot Martingale (DCA Bot) , Futures Grid, COIN-M Futures Grid, and the Hedging Bot can all have it changed; Futures Martingale(Futures DCA Bot) and Cross Margin Futures Grid cannot.
Whether leverage can be adjusted also varies: only the standard Futures Grid (one-way) and COIN-M Futures Grid allow it; the Hedging Bot is fixed at 1x for hedge-ratio reasons, and Cross Margin Futures Grid and Futures Martingale (Futures DCA Bot) can't adjust it either.
On Trailing up: it can be set while Spot Grid is running, but all futures-type grid bots (Futures Grid, COIN-M Futures Grid, Cross Margin Futures Grid, Hedging Bot) cannot adjust it while running — a similar effect can only be achieved by manually changing the price range.
On whether profit can be withdrawn while running: Futures Grid, COIN-M Futures Grid, Cross Margin Futures Grid, and the Hedging Bot all have a separate "Redeem Profit" button in the "More" menu — meaning profit can be withdrawn while running (as long as it isn't tied up as margin), without closing the bot first.
If a system error appears when modifying parameters, it's usually because the values entered didn't pass the system's real-time validation (for example, whether the price range, leverage, or investment amount falls within the currently allowed range). A modification that exceeds the currently allowed range will be rejected by the system; simply adjust the relevant parameter values and resubmit. If it still can't be modified, we recommend contacting support for assistance.
