Futures Trading Bonus Guide

Explains how the futures trading bonus works — manual futures only, not futures bots — used with your own funds as margin and applied first to fees and losses, plus how to earn it, where to check it, and when it is forfeited.

What is Futures Trading Bonus?

The Futures Trading Bonus is designed to help users get familiar with futures trading rules while boosting their trading capital. By using the Trading Bonus, users can enjoy additional profits from trades without being liable for any losses incurred by the bonus itself.

  1. The Trading Bonus can only be used for futures trading — it cannot be applied to spot trading, financial products, or other services.

  2. The Trading Bonus can be used together with your own funds as margin to open positions.

  3. During trading, the bonus will be applied first to cover trading fees, funding fees, and position losses. The actual deduction amount is calculated based on the discount ratio set by each individual promotion — please refer to the specific event terms for details.

  4. Profits are withdrawable. The Trading Bonus itself cannot be transferred or withdrawn.

How to Earn a Trading Bonus

  1. Participate in Pionex deposit events or trading competitions — meet the required conditions to claim a bonus (subject to each event's specific rules)

  2. Refer new users to Pionex — earn extra Trading Bonus on top of your referral commissions

  3. Participate in Pionex community and social media campaigns

Eligibility and reward amounts are subject to each event's terms. Some rewards can only be claimed once (e.g., first-time deposit bonus).

Important Notes

  • You must activate your futures account before a Trading Bonus can be credited. The bonus is deposited directly into the futures account and cannot be transferred out.

  • If you transfer your own funds out of the futures account before the bonus is fully used, the remaining Trading Bonus will be immediately forfeited.

  • The Trading Bonus must be used within its validity period. Upon expiry, or upon any outbound fund transfer from the futures account, any unused bonus will be automatically reclaimed regardless of usage status.

  • Some rewards require KYC2 identity verification before they can be claimed.

  • The Trading Bonus applies to manual futures trading only and cannot be used with futures bots.

  • For the concurrent-use limit on Bonus credits and other rules, see "Futures Bonus Product Introduction."

How long is the Trading Bonus valid?

Each promotion sets its own validity period, so there is no single fixed duration. Some event bonuses (for example daily-claim events) are valid only on the day they are claimed; others run for a set number of days. The exact expiry date is shown on the bonus card in [Futures Account] → [Bonus]. Note that a bonus can also disappear before its listed expiry: making any outbound transfer out of your futures account immediately forfeits the remaining bonus. So if a bonus vanished much sooner than you expected, the usual cause is an outbound transfer, not a bug.

What happens to your profit and loss when the Trading Bonus is reclaimed?

Reclaiming a bonus only removes the unused Trading Bonus amount — it never claws back profit you have already earned.

  • Your realized profit is yours. Profit from bonus-assisted trades is credited to your account as it is made and stays fully withdrawable, even after the bonus is reclaimed at expiry or on an outbound transfer.

  • Losses already offset stay offset. Losses and fees incurred while the bonus was active were already shared between the bonus and your own funds at the promotion's discount ratio; reclaiming does not reverse that split.

  • An open position is not force-closed. If you still have an open position when the bonus is reclaimed, the position keeps running as normal. The bonus is deducted immediately, so from that point on the position's trading fees, funding fees, and losses are no longer offset by the bonus and are fully borne by your own principal.
