Deposit Address & Network FAQ

Explains whether deposit addresses change across devices or logins, why balances can't be traced to a specific blockchain, where to find contract addresses, and how to avoid losing funds by choosing the wrong network.

Does my deposit address change every time I log in?

No. Your deposit address for each coin is fixed — it won't change if you log out and back in, switch devices, or use a different browser. You can safely reuse the same address for future deposits of that coin, on the same network.

Can I delete my old deposit address and generate a new one?

No. Deposit addresses can't be deleted or regenerated. Each "coin + network" combination is permanently tied to your account, so all future deposits of that coin will always be credited correctly to that same address.

How do I check which network my USDC (or other coin) balance is on?

Once a deposit is credited, it becomes part of your Pionex account balance, which is managed by the exchange as a whole — so there's no way to check "which network my balance is currently on."

The network only matters at the moment you actually transfer funds:

  • Depositing: you choose the network for that deposit.

  • Withdrawing: you choose the network again for that withdrawal.

The USDC amount you see in your account is simply the balance you can use directly — you don't need to worry about which network it's "on."

Where can I find a token's contract address?

  1. Go to the Deposit page.

  2. Select the coin you want to deposit.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page — you'll find a Contract Info section listing the contract address for that coin on each supported network.

Always double-check the network before you transfer

Sending on the wrong network is one of the most common causes of lost deposits or withdrawals, and in many cases it can't be recovered. Before every transfer, make sure to:

  • Confirm the coin and network match on both the sending and receiving side;

  • Copy the address directly from the Pionex App instead of typing it manually;

  • Send a small test amount first for large or first-time transfers.
